Cool finds today include a pair of old earrings, a 1964 Canada nickel, a letter P with a thunderbolt on it (not sure what that means yet), and the red quarter. Anyone ever found a red quarter or know what the P is? For the history of the red quarter, see here: THAT'S WHY: WHY ARE SOME QUARTERS RED? | Deseret News

The clad around me comes out of the ground red, green and blue sometimes. The silver stays nice and shiny though.

Nice finds!

The quarter reminds me of ones they used to pint red at some bars and given out to patrons for a free song play on the juke box.
