Petroglyph found, help me figure it out

Hi Kim, I'm pretty sure, ( if I understand what you said ) They are used in different ways, perhaps the facial feature of the boulder may be of interest, here is a hoyo ( start of a trail ) the direction to go is where the face , feature shows, not necessarly thru the hoyo ??. That BIG OLE SNOOPY DOG that looks to the right may be of interest Good post Maven / Tracker

If you look through the hole what do you see? I would go to what you see through it just to see if it leads to something else?

There is a Juniper in front of the hole, but it's not like a long tube type hole that you could sight a line or direction with.

It's more like a small window looking down into the canyon, if you put your face close to the hole you could see the whole mountain side.
