Hey folks, many of you might not know that I search primarily half dollars, but here are the results of my first 10 boxes this year... pretty dismal results, pictures below!

p.s. look out for my marked coins, let me know if anybody finds them, if so, PM me, i'd like to know how far they travel!
note: my marked coins consist of my signature: B, BB, Buff, Buf Boy or BuffaloBoy, usually with a silver colored edge.
The back of my coins consist of the month(on top) and year(on bottom), so the coins I mark this month will say, "1 13" meaning they were marked in January of 2013.

The 1986d statue of liberty uncirculated half dollar has a mintage of 928,008
The 2008-S Uncirculated bald eagle half dollar has a mintage of just over 120,000! (a coin I have considered buying for my personal collection several times, and this one is a beauty!)

I never post pictures, but this is an exception to my skunky start to 2013. Both commemorative half dollars were found in 2 different boxes from 2 different banks.

yeah, the mint capped a TOTAL mintage for the eagle half dollars (including the proof design) at 750,000, and the uncurculated version of a commemorative is generally way less than the proof version since everybody wants a shiny coin... 120,000 coins is not a lot when you really think about it.

I found one of these Liberty Immigrant Commemoratives last week, and hadn't heard of it before that. I hadn't heard of the Eagle Comm before your post and I'd love to find one, but I'm sure that you found the ONLY ONE in circulation. Congrats!!!!!
