Today's finds from a local farm field

None of my buddies could hunt today so I hit a local farm I've been hunting on and off. The first coin I found was the trashed 2 cent piece. I can make out the shield but that's about it. Also found a 1886 indian, 1917-S Merc, 1911, 1917, 1925, and 1937 wheaties. Found a stinkin' Lincoln out there as well.
A couple buttons and a buckle and a few other doodads. Hope it's not raining in the morning because we're suppose to go out digging together. Way better than going alone. Happy Holidays All. 8)

Hey Mike, you did very well!! You struck silver, some old coppers, and some relics/buttons.

I know what you mean...it sure is better to make the finds and share the joy in finding them with your buddies.

Looks like a decent day to me Mike. Would have been nice for the key to be in one piece. I also hope the rain holds off till the afternoon tomorrow, may get out a bit in the AM....

It is a bird figurine. I think it's off a tractor or car. Never know what will turn up in the fields.
