A few good Ole Genesee beers "probably brewed with the waters of the Genesee River"

We have the chicken soaking in salt water for fried chicken, collard greens, and fried corn.

Can't wait, it's one of my favorite meals.

Laurie got offended that I used the word PUKE. But to me, that's what her dinner tasted like

Wrong thing to say my man, you may want to look at the walmart/coffin thread.

I always say it's good even if something is not to my taste.

I didn't really say that............it's a Jack Handy quote that I thought was funny. :tongue3:

My wife's name is Misty and she has only cooked 1 thing I haven't liked. She makes these apple turnovers that taste like.............Love........If you could eat love, this is what they would taste like! :love4:

Re: What's For Dinner?

Well tonight it is a mix of barley, rice and hops, mostly.

Last night was diced leftover cooked pork chunks, nuked whole new potatoes ( why do they call partially grown potatoes new ? ) whole small mushrooms, stir fried in Kitchen Boquet and butter.
Couple slices of home made bread and a glass of milk.

Me drinking milk.
This caused a large earthquake in Japan and Tsunami waves across the Pacific Ocean.
Sorry.

Re: What's For Dinner?

Back from a 3 night camping trip.
Had bacon wrapped fillet, those burritos I mentioned and some of those hot wings.
I make dinners that I can freeze some leftovers for upcoming camping trips.

Now that I'm home, I have to cook up a hodgepodge for dinner.

{looking at leftovers in fridge.....}

Hmmmm. Guess it's gonna be a hamburger type mixture including some crushed red peppers and curry. Some rice and barley thrown in for good measure, for my starch you know.
Some mixed veggies on the side and a small salad. And a glass of sweet tea.
Dessert? Well, I guess I'll pull out the Hamilton Beach milk shake/malt mixer my Mom used to own and make a Banana flavored milk shake.

Best Wishes,
Scott
