Who says a DFX won't hunt deep

Hit a few old boat ramps and camp grounds and came up with one memorial penny lol

Went by and old high school now elementary school as dark came in. Found the rest of the clad there around 3-4 inches. You can see the scratch my lesche did to the nickel. After it got pretty dark and I was heading back to my truck I got good silver hit in the 7 inch range. The little button or pin cap what ever it is, below the quarter my lesche was totally in the hole I dug hunting it. So I would think it was in the 9-10 inch range. I had to use my pinpointer light for light as I dug and hunted it. It probably took 5-10 minutes to locate and find the little thing. lol Now I just gotta figure out what it was from :icon_scratch: back of an earring I am guessing

well it certainly looks like the back of an earring and it was that deep?? Wow! Yeah, I guess that DFX goes plenty deep if it found a target that small so deep. lol Glad you got out and had some fun! Obviously you are feeling better and that is awesome! :icon_sunny:

Yeah I am about 90 percent, saw today on the local news the county I am working in has the worst air in the state now and they don't have a large city just mills and chemical plants. :( No wonder my lungs are taking a bit to heal. Either way I am not one to sit, I rather be out and about somewhere

Tomorrow I am gonna see if it is silver :)

I have found many small targets with my DFX in sand and in dirt.I have had signals so deep and filled with roots that I quit digging.I hit a dime in the sand at 10 to 12 inches.

Great day! Glad you are feeling good enough to get out. :icon_sunny: I'd be interested to see the tiny item cleaned. May be the back to an earing, or..............

rofl too shay, must be why I haven't found a cache yet, toooooo big :tongue3: It was my own fault not being around when the clues were being handed out. Just goes to prove my theory no place is ever hunted out, no place. If she don't move them I be after them again next year

you probably went right over them and didn't know it, they rang up as junk on mine. kept bouncing between quarter, dime, penny and back. I think they'll still be there next year LOL
