WW2 German Reichsarbeitsdienst pin

Not a detector find, I'm still on the mend from elbow surgery so no swinging for me til I'm healed. But after seeing Benyo4559s badge he dug, I decided I needed to go scrounge a few "antique" shops, since I hadn't found anything to add to my collection of German militaria in a while... I've been slowly getting back into collecting since I came across a nice helmet a while back...

Anyway, this is a Reichsarbeitsdienst, or German Labor Service lapel pin. Not particularly rare or valuable but maybe the start of a stick pin collection...

Anything war related has a special place for me. War is "Hell" as they say and those who fought and died in wars loosing metal items for us to find carries a somber reminder for us all. Very cool stick pin find mate. May you continue to recover many more in your hunts in the dirt or elsewhere.:headbang:
