2 gold rings..3 fantasy Cobbs..other small jewelry !!

got out for a hunt today....another gorgeous day spent underwater. Hunted dead low to high tide. My luck held up and I managed to get 3 more rings....2 of them gold !!
This one is a hip hop ring and looked to be a pretty fresh drop !! Then I got this one which has the symbol for male and female (I think).
there was other little bits of jewelry too. had some broken scrap gold and had the little gold seashell from Sunday when I was teaching my kid to hunt !!
What a great moment for me...getting out there with my kid !! Heck ya !! And to top it all off 3 more fantasy cobbs...that brings me to 5 in 2 hunts !! and of coarse the typical clad....I did not show the absolute pile of pull tabs and bottle caps !!

Thanks don....I'm so excited to have him by my side out there !! Better than any gold a father could find. That was our first time together in the water with the detector !!

What detector did you use, did your son find any of the booty?

I was using the EQX 600. Steve he can't quite maneuver that machine in the water....but he loves to stick by my side and watch what I'm doing. When I find something he helps dig. We're a team !! He got to retrieve the little gold shell....he was super excited. Screaming to mom on the beach about it....he thinks we can here him through the mask...lol.

OBN...its the greatest thing to be able to teach my son about the water.....maybe he'll develop a love affair with the ocean like I did and have a career at sea also. And if not thats fine too....but it feels good to see him enjoy the same things dad does !!

We started getting our kids involved with caving at a very early age..., and my son liked it, but my daughter, didn't.... But, that is preference, the CHOICE to do certain things a little different in their/our lives.....

One of my fondest moments was a hunt with my Pop! He didn't introduce me to metal detecting. I got him interested. He showed me an old rodeo arena one time. There was nothing left but a few fences and corrals. We wondered onto the place, he said: "the concession stand used to be about here" We dug coins for hours on that trip.
