extractor on the way out I see another tecter dude, an "enemy" detector dude, I say enemy, this it is our pet peeve to call stranger tecter dudes "enemy detectorists". This all in jest of course and silly perhaps. But they are still enemy tector dudes, Etrac or not, until you go up and have a chat with them. So I did. Anyway I introduce myself and I notice he has an Etrac. I ask if I can handle it and he says sure, this guy was a true gentleman. The Etrac feels good and is not heavy it's awesome. This guy found an Indian cent and some other clad and a cheap cuff link, even a zinc I think but little trash to speak of. I guess he was cherry pickin'. This was in an area beat down by every detectorist dude and his uncle since they come out with gieger counters. I showed him my pouch of crap and told him about my project fifty yards away. I think he was mildly ammused. We are going back, he is going to go thru the area and try to conger up something decent. Pics soon, on the Etrac forum. I will post my next atpro trash throwdown soon, temps expected in the sixties soon, this is heat wave around these parts.
