Letter requesting permission to hunt.

Once upon a time I came across a well written letter requesting permission to hunt on someones property. I can't remember if it was in a book or online somewhere. Does anyone have any ideas?
Just to clarify I not talking about the Search and Salvage agreement that would come after the letter.
