This heavy ironstone bottle stands right at 12 inches tall .. I believe that it is a nice old one with the only flaw being a open firing bubble in the glaze just below the shoulder.

Hey creskol,

There's a nice one. That form is generally a Dutch Gin, sometimes German mineral water. I take it there's nothing impressed.

Your killing me with that pic, looks like the slightest shake and its going to end up in a thousand pieces! Very interesting, I have a couple of spots I would love to excavate and look for some old bottles just can't change my focus from deer hunting and metal detecting (lions and tigers and bears oh my!)
I love the old bottles, just looking at them on the site intrigues me. Nice find, thanks for sharing. HH
