Found a broken little .22 revolver today at low tide in the ocean. Thought it was a toy at first.
It's too rusty and missing many parts to ever be used again. Surface find.

Cool find.
I wonder if someone used it in a crime and tossed it.

I would have the police run the serial. It doesnt look old enough to considered an antique. The frame should have the serial number on it. That's considered a firearm even though it's missing the cylinder so be careful when carrying it and mailing it.

It would be extremely exciting if the serial number could be matched up to the buyer who may have been under suspicion of ????? And you could help solve a years old crime. Maybe even get a reward!

Now back to the real world-- thanks for listing it.

Look on the top of the barrel & the top of the frame for markings. It may also not be a revolver. Could be a 2 shot derringer. Need more pics to see if there is a mechanism for turning the cylinder if it was a revolver. Close.. Different style barrel. North American Arms - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
