I went to a sports field that I have been to over 100 times since the late 70's. A friend and I took over 100 silver dimes off of this field back then. Then all these years since... no silver. Well a new coil changed all of that. I found one of the war nickels and 2 Rosie's in the same hole and the other war nickel about 40' away. Then found 2 cheap rings about 30' apart.

Nice when some new technology revives some old spots

there ya go!, maybe more there you missed?

Thanks... I did not miss them... we gridded this field of in like 1980... Its the new tech for sure...

Looks like your loaded for bear Gary, 15" coil and a probe on that F75 SE. What process were you running? Is it easy to pinpoint with that coil?

Congrats on the silver, guess you'll be gridding off that park again. :notworthy:

Thanks Loco,
If you only knew the real me. I was buying 12” coils for my Bounty Hunters in the late 80's. I also have an AT PRO and I had the factory 5x8 coil (sold it to my friend Canslaw). I have the factory standard coil and I also bought the NEL 5.5x9.5 Sharp shooter coil and the 15” NEL Attack coil. Loved the NEL's but could not find silver on this hard hunted field with the AT PRO. I am selling the AT PRO and all of the coils. I just ordered form Bart a new Fisher F44 for my rain hunting :) Yes it is easy to pinpoint. It is not good on really trashy sites. I bought this for wide open fields. Its not me, its the Fisher F75 SE DST and the SEF 12x15” super coil. Yes the Sunray probe is so awesome. I also have a Garrett Pro-Pointer AT which I really like too. I was running in all metal with Sens at 99... The Bears had better look out... LOL
Thanks ... By the way I will be grinding off all of my old sites... :)

Thanks Ahab... I wish I could hunt all of the great sites you hunt! I am living on the wrong coast... LOL

Great hunt. I'm still looking for that hole full of silver!

Don't you love it when the same hole keeps giving and all were silver to boot! Nice finds:occasion14:
