I've been feeling kind of out of sorts lately. (Welcome to
gettin' old I guess. :dontknow: )
Anyway, I almost didn't go today.

I felt like going but found it hard to get started.

So, I went:

2016 (386).webp

'just an hour or two but, I went. :dontknow:

Fishy and Blingie seem to be standing their distance. ;)

2016 (387).webp

Only some odd bits and pieces of metal but,
each time one came up I kinda got a smile figuring
them out. Ya know? :)

2016 (388).webp

I think it had something to do with this guy.
Ya see, Blingie doesn't like chopped lizard tail and
Fishy is not fond of fillet knives. ;)

I think I learned that, "to each their own" , applies to me too! :)
What I mean is that even though the majority of the walks I go on
are simple and pure cladfests. BUT, that is NOT a bad thing!

I simply LOVE to find a really nice, OLD coin but, filling in time
with these simple walks is part of what I like to do! Especially if the
modern place is built on old ground. Keeping the aspect open.

Sorry for the many words, but, I really think I figured out what was bothering
me and thought I'd share.

Thanks for stopping by!

You are welcome! You've already got one banner under your belt, so the bling doesn't always have to be there. Thanks for sharing!

I see your friends are keeping their distance from your recent find... I would too, that thing is kinda creepy...

Whadi, that is one:

Tell him to put the knife down and step away from it! I don't show half of the finds from my hunts because they are usually just clad and metal bits of whatnot...But like you, I am glad to be out there, getting exercise, being free in the greatest country on earth! Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

I like the deadpool Keychain

Keep swinging my friends!

Fun hunt a bit of everything! :icon_thumleft:

Alot of recoveries for an hour or two.

I don't expect screamin finds when Hunting.
Makes the odd one frosting on the cake.
May have to try too much but there is always something.
One time it took two sites to scratch up a couple memorial cents. :dontknow:
Worth it? You bet!
Dead pool has it's adherents per second hand info. A kind of interesting character some one I know has gone to events in self made costume of.

No. Thank you! For sharing your thoughts as well as your finds. Both are greatly appreciated.

Get out there and take the walk!! Never know what may be in the next plug..........
This comes from one who has 2 silvers, 2 buffalos and a hand full of wheats for the year.........the next good signal keeps me goin'!
I believe you posted to me (about a month back) that clad ain't a bad thing and makes up about 90% of your finds........it was what I needed to stay motivated.......
Thanks for the "push".........

Glad to see your still enjoying the occasional walk with the detector. Maybe you should get checked for lyme's disease Whadi, did you read Scrappy's post?

Oh my yes! I saw that and am very much aware of the issue. But, this isn't any sort of physical issue. I suffer from depression is all. That will stifle my "care" to do "anything". I've learned to just go do anyway. But, sometimes, it just plain gets tough.

Once I get past that roadblock and actually start swinging, I'm fine. My average walk is about 3.5 hours. That's long enough for anyone. ;) LOL

Thanks!

The little guy does not look too happy to have been removed from his hiding place!

I'm with Blingie & Fishy on that one!

As with any "walk" its not so much about the goodies but just getting out there and enjoying yourself. Goodies are the icing!

So congrats on some nice icing and the stroll to collect it all!

I am intrigued by the bits of metal, but then i like "what's it's"! They present a mystery :)

Concladulations! :occasion14:
