I went out for 4 hours dirt digging today with the CTX. I dug more trash than good finds, I'm doing that now - a solid signal gets dug, I'm not looking at numbers anymore. I find I waste too much time looking at numbers and deciding based on them, when I should just dig and go on to the next signal.
I dug 52 pennies, 6 nickels, 15 dimes and 16 quarters for a total of $6.32 and 89 coins.
And then there was this tiny little broken child's ring, weighs in at 0.51 grams! I'm rich! I'm rich!
I couldn't find any markings, but it tested positive for silver using the 18K gold test solution.
