carved rock

Discovered in Sweetwater, TX

Hello! I need help figuring out if this rock is anything. I found it somewhere in West Virginia and there are scratches all around it that look deliberately carved and unnatural. Was this a sharpening tool or something else? Thank you!

Hi everyone I'm new here, lately I've been finding lots of things in my yard and I'm hoping someone can help me figure it out!! Thanks :)carved tree? tools? Carved rocks? Just rocks? i am in southwest FL near a creek on a property that has had a home on it since 1930.

I found this rock in my backyard a few years age. It's circular, approx. 3" in diameter and 3/16" thick. There are small carved notches in places around the circumference. I've seen similar notches on other rocks I've found in the area. The other notched rocks sometimes resembled crude bird...
