$1,000 in hand-rolled dimes

I haven't done much roll searching this month, as it's the dirt-fishing opener. I have been having decent luck pulling mercs, silver Washingtons, silver rosies, wheats, and silver ring.
I was able to make it to two of my dime suppliers yesterday, $600 from one, and $400 from the other. I was bummed to find out that the $400 batch had already been picked by a teller. The roll ends were soft, not crisp, the account #'s had been inked over in advance, and a suspicious red X on each roll.
The $600 batch gave up 6 silvers.

yea but 6 silver for the week so far is still a nice score. Plus all that you are finding MD you ae doing great. Keep it up......Matt

Nice haul there. I have been wanting to get out with the detector as well--as the days of late have been o-so-pretty--but alas, school is keeping me indoors.

Hope you find some gold and diamonds in the ground and silver in the rolls (or boxes).

Might want to find a new supplier. If your supplier is crh at work and getting paid for it, and able to dump there too, you may not ever get another silver there.
What type of terrain to you detect in? I find wooded areas the best here in Central Illinois, but alot of people like old homes and old farms.

I know this branch picks the halves. With the value of dimes over $2.50 ea, I can't blame them for picking those too, it's a small one-bank town, probably lots of down time.
I detect hard-hit areas, private homes, and old sites all with permission. I like to jump into the most trashy areas of a park or fairgrounds. I do real well in these spots that most detectorists avoid. ffd
