Had an 1 1/2 hours to kill while my wife was at a meeting this morning, so I hit a tot lot I knew of near where she was meeting. Didn't do great, but any time swinging is a good time! ;D Aside from the clad, there is a Boardwalk Token and that bullet shaped thing has a hole down the center. ???

Hey, at least you got out of the house!! That thing with the hole down the center is a plastic worm sinker for bass fishing etc. I think you did great, better than not going at all. Great finds, John

Nothing wrong with those finds.

Not bad at all. I found a simular bullet shaped thing this morning, too. It's hollow in the middle.

That bullet shaped thing is def a Hollow point civil war era "no" ringer ;D Nice finds for 1 1/2 hrs

I found out on another forum it is a bullet wieght used to get a better feel of the "bite" when a fish hits.

Sorry seebee, (I can be a bit of a Smart A$$) actually I used to be a big bass fisher (I Kinda like Cat fishin and dirt fishin now), It is actually a lead wieght used for plastic worms, tied B-4 the hook, it would slide along the line (between the space of your deisired knots ) to give the bait some worm movement as you "bounced the wieght along the bottom". the worm would "float" above the wieght that was being bounced or drug along the bottom. I used to love Plastic worm fishing as it took some skill and slow movment of the bait to "work" it along the bottom, most the time my catches were B-4 the bait hit bottom but a skilled fisherman could work the bait in the right area and drag (work)it right across a nice basses lair. I hope that makes since.

The bullet shaped deal is a lead sinker that slides freely on fishing line...called a bullet sinker usually used above the hook and bait, and tend not to get snagged on weeds n stuff.

Thanks all for the input, there are loads of "smart" folks on this site. HH and I'll keep posting and y'all do the same!!
