Way to go  What year is it? Glad you found one, I don't seem to find them as often as so many on here do either. I have only found a few. I don't get to hunt as much as I would like either though and I hope that is the reason. Anyway congrats on yours and hope you find many more. HH Steve

Congrats on finding your first wheat. Sorry that it took you so long. Just got my first one of this year, last Sunday. They're always fun. Keep swinging, you'll find many more.

Congrats...the first one is the hardest.

Now get out there and look for more....

Funny thign those wheats. I have pulled a few thousand coins from the gound and have found MAYBE 100 wheats. Took me forever to hit that spot though. I just figured the soil up here ate 'em all. Zincolns seldom even readable after just a single year here on the west coast but the old coppers hold up much much better. It is just getting to a place that has them and hasn;t been covered by concrete and steel.
Great job and good luck finding that key date!

Congrats on your first wheat..now you're hooked forever!

I found 229 of them last year and 86 so far this year..I found almost every one of them in private yards that are at least 50 years old. If you like finding them and get the opportunity to check these yards, you're sure to find them, and maybe some silver too.

Must be something in the water... I found my first wheat on Sunday as well. It was a 56 D in great shape. Given the age of the park (only @25 years), it was probably lost more recently.
