10 Inch Mortarball Recovered

[N.O. noir et d'or]

As a retirement present to myself, I bought a Garrett ATX used from Bart's Big Boy Hobbies. On my first day of use, I hit the mortarball at approximately 4 1/2 feet. As it weighed-in at almost 88lbs, it took 2 1/2 hours to dig it out and transport to the car. Cannonball Guy verified it on the "What Is It" Forum, so I was very happy that all the effort was worth it! Thanks for looking, N.O.

SWEET mortar!

I'd dig a hole twice that deep for one of those beauties! Congrats!!

Thanks Finman! Not saying that digging it up wasn't an effort, but lugging it to the car almost did me in!
