i don't think it matters what you're averaging, but moreless if you're happy with your results :)

in my area cents are around 20-22% copper, 8-10 Wheat backs and 3-6 Canadians. These are my averages per 25.00 MWR box. These averages go up or down considerably if you aquire CWR.

After 10-12 boxes you will have a good idea.

This hobby is hit and miss. Sometimes your the windshield sometimes your the bug. Take the good with the bad an keep hunting.

i really notice the decline in shop classes accross america through my hunt for wheats, i never see newer pennies with multiple drill holes or bandsaw cuts.

Here in DeWitt, Iowa, at USBANK I do about A box or two daily. I usually average 2 wheats per roll on a good day or usually around 25 wheats total on a bad day. I find indian heads occasionly. I find lots of BU 1960's and always keep them. I found a 1909 plain and a 1914 D recently in the same roll! I also average quite a few young portrait canadians when I hunt! Good luck!

How many do you have. I only have a few, and had a lot of BU 1970s copper ($10 of almost solid copper when I bought some pennies, only one wheatie).
