Love finding great things, love discovering the history of those finds.
Modern Health Crusaders

All I have is my cell phone so the pic is not great but it looks fantastic in person.
Really tarnished but cleaned up nice and came in high so I suspect it is silver.
Better pic of another one I pulled off the web next to it.

I believe this was given to a kid around 1919 and found in an old park in an area that had a bunch of homes back then.
I had an accident at the end of June and fractured my left wrist and left heel so this was found from a wheelchair.
When ya gotta dig you find a way.

Hello digger27. That is a cool pin and great research...hope it turns out to be silver. Yours pin is better than mine found a couple of years ago at an old school site...looks like the same group.

BTW I applaud you for hunting from a wheel chair...I have been worried about how I will continue to dig in my golden years! Hope you are up and around real soon. Thanks for the post and good luck. C9

Great pin, post 1920 but still really old.
Love finding old historical knick-knacks especially if you can track down the history.

Cool find; especially from a wheelchair.
My hat is off to you on that one.

I guess when you gotta' hunt, you gotta' hunt no matter where you happen to be sitting.
