#108 Ring is 18K GOLD !

Finally found some gold today ! Last gold item I found was on May 27 of this year . I hunted a park here in San Jose that gives up a lot of clad and some gold and silver from time to time . I was hunting for about an hour when I got a nice +16 , +18 at 3 inches . When I pulled back the plug I was a happy man ! It is a 18K gold ring that weighs 2.6 grams , stamped 750 . Then I got a deep 7 inch target that was all over the place , +28 , +45 , +72 ...... When I got down to it I thought I had gold number 2 for the day but it is just plated gold . It an older looking pendent with Jesus on one side and the Mother Mary on the other . The other good finds were a medical hat badge and a 1945S wheat cent . Total clad for two hour was $8.84 .

Sweet ring. All I can find is silver.

You must dig the low tones to get the gold . You will dig lots of trash but the gold ring will come !
