It was cool and windy today.

There is a park close to me, that has a flat place next to a
tennis court.

As you can see, there are electrical outlets along tha right
side. Those are for food venders mostly. There are a lot of
activities besides eating that goes on there also. People are
often sitting in chairs and on tha ground there.

Anyway, it is really trashy. It has been hunted a lot but, it’s
so trashy, it is a likely place to find stuff. If only I can be slow
and be patient. That’s hard for me. I want it now!! Today was
tha best day I’ve had there.

I found a few pieces of Junky looking jewelry.

Here’s tha whole shootin match. I started out to not dig pull tabs.
You can see what poor self control I have. It just goes against
my grain to not dig them.

After I got home, I got at looking at tha jewelry. Tha big ear ring
looks like silver. It’s not a bad looking piece.

Tha trumbone may even be silver. They turn dark in acid like
silver and some other metals do.

Tha diamonds are fake, but tha setting turned out at be 10k gold.
That supprised me. I thought it looked like junk.

I guess that’s what you call “ 10k Junk “.

I popped tha fake diamonds out and weighed it. It’s only a half
a gram.

It started raining and getting cold. That was more than I could
stand. But it turned out OK.

I had a good time anyway. With my pajama bottoms under my
Pants, a good hat, gloves and a nice coat. I was comfortable,
until tha rain started.

Oh well, I like it.

Thanks for lOOkin,

Tabdog

Those two pieces look like silver. Silver and gold in one day, not bad! I am impatient, too, when it comes to trashy areas. But the patient ones get the goodies, like you did today.

You did great in such a trashy site.
There's probably a ton of nickles and maybe a gold ring or two.
With all those I think you have more patience than you think.

Good score and Object Lesson for us!

Take the stones to a jeweler.

They may not be diamonds, but something else like topaz. I've never been charged for the ID.
