Monday at the Lake

Still too hot to hang around in Reno, so off to the lake again!
Surprising amount of clad for a spot I hit regularly (and many others also). I was killing the nickels and pull tabs...where's the stinkin' gold?
Anyways, got one 925 ring, a car lot, some junk jewelry, a bunch of other junk, and $6.61 in clad.

$6.61 in clad gets you a gallon of regular at the lake, with two cents to spare!

Looks like Steve and Kim didn't quite make it to 'always' 😕

Got one of those newfangled Chinese tracking rings.

Tiny old Yale lock key. I actually have the same lock that this goes to, it's from 1902.

Man, it's so darn peaceful early in the morning before all the yahoos show up!

Nice key, you never know what you’re gonna find. One of my friends said he found an 1860s coin washed up at Tahoe but I have yet to see the coin to verify.

Nice key, you never know what you’re gonna find. One of my friends said he found an 1860s coin washed up at Tahoe but I have yet to see the coin to verify.

I found a 1876 quarter at this same beach two years ago, so I don't doubt it.
