14/april/2010...... 1/2 Escudo Carlos III 1788.

[HISPAN]

Today found 1 / 2 Escudo gold of King Charles III of Spain 1788 (is my first coin of this king, and the first gold coin), but also some things ,the coin appeared in quite poor condition , but is my only currency of Carlos III, and his photographs and made some better but still not appreciate their beauty .... my camera to photograph is very bad.

I grant you that I don't know crap about that coin but a man's first gold coin deserves the banner imo, it's absolutely beautiful and I hope Hispan finds many more

Can you tell us what settings you used on your MXT ? How deep was the gold coin ? what were the conditions of the area where you found the coin ? What reading did the gold coin give you ? Curious minds want to know !!!

settings used on MXT ?
- Relic mode (You will find coins and all kinds of findings).
- 0 Threshold (annoying hum)
- 3 Discrimination (No iron small)
- Ground Mode

deep was the coin ?
- Only 10 cm

what were the conditions of the area ?
- The location of the find is in the fields of fruit trees near an old house built in the centuries 16 or 17. the land very red ferrous and ceramic remains of the 17th and 18th centuries. (now just fruit)

What reading did ?
- not look at the VDI, is only the sound......
