Squeaked This one out as it was getting dark. Very Very low water, wind howling in the best direction possible, If I had a headlamp I could have stayed another hour and a half. A solid 15 on my equinox about 8" deep. Two hours in a tumbler cleaned it up nice. Marked 14K. I hope you can see the cameo cut into the stone, it looks red or mahogany color. I have no idea what the stone could be.

that's awesome

Mike B... thanks for the MSg...

I would like to say I feel obligated now to follow through on this... especially since no one else has yet.
I want you to know that you should not "scrap" this ring... even if glass... which is yet to be determined... it is worth some money beyond scrap.

This Amethyst glass ring... has a $750 price tag... so keep this in mind and font do anything hasty.

Also... this may be some stone... and yes even carnelian ... I personally had never seen carnelian ring that color but after researching I did find similar colors of proclaimed carnelian rings that resemble yours so it is possible Bart was correct on stone.

This also would keep value up there beyond scrap value.

These can be and are called "signet" rings as well.. so when searching try this key word.
I searched a few myself and it has the look to fit.

Hope this finds you well and helps in your quest. :)

That's a nice looking ring, congrats
