Nice find! That may be worth more as a case than for its melt value... Try posting it in the "what is it" section, maybe there are some people familiar with its design.

Congrats on your find, good eye. How big is a cigarette case? I know nothing about the cases other than they existed. Looks like a nice one though. Congrats again.
 

what a nice case! Is there a stamp anywhere? Just want to rule out heavy silver plating...

Howdy All, There were no markings but it acid tested sterling. It is 6 5/8 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide.
