3 sites not a ton of targets.but the few keepers were good ones.all 1700's relics.a lock plate from a black powder pistol or rifle,a couple ox knobs,a broken shoe buckle frame,a cool patterned button, a tiny broken pocket knife and a unbroken pewter spoon. If anyone can tell me what gun this may have come from I would appreciate it.No markings at all on the brass plate

awesome find. looks great after clean up.

totally awesome find and awesome clean up. the lock would be a center piece for me, just a super cool thing from history that represents a person's tool for both defenses and for acquiring food. This was part of a vital item that was very important to whoever owned it. a major bucket lister for me. congrats

Amazing find. I have never seen a brass lock plate, I just assumed most of them were iron. A lock plate from an old gun is very high up on my bucket list, hopefully one day I will find one. Congrats on such an amazing find!
