My dad was all into the Mel Fisher stories back in the 80s. We actually went on vacation once to Key West just to see the Mel Fisher Museum. He purchased two cobs by mail back in 1985 from the Ye Olde Coin and Stamp Shop from a guy by the name of Graham Rayner. Is that familiar with anyone? One is from Mexico City and the Authenticity letter says this was found off Ft. Pierce and is from 1715 Fleet. The other is from Barcelona. He says this is "possibly " from the wreck and would have been pocket change from one of the persons on board? I don't know how you would authenticate that but makes a good story. My dad was going to have this one made into a pendant and put on a necklace for my mom but she says he never got around to doing it. He passed away about seven years ago now and my mom gave me these coins the other day. Well I took down to my coin/jewelry guy and he is going to make it into a pendant and hopefully my mom can wear and enjoy it for a few more years. Here are pics of coins and authenticity letters. You'll see he only paid $25 for Mexico City coin and $20 for Barcelona coin. They went up in value a little in 37 years. Last pic is what pendant should look like when done. Thanks for reading.

Heirloom value to you, I'm sure..., but still, here are two sunken Spanish coins, recovered history for sure...!
