This is my trove from 5 hunts spread out over 3 weeks. One of the days was a 51 coin day, which is my highest count so far. Most of the coins that day came from a field adjacent to an elementary school. The field is about 4 acres, and I only detected a 150' stretch 4' wide and pulled about 15 coins. Will be going back once we get a little moisture in the ground. Next target is a 100 coin day. I've got that spot picked out, just have to get permission. A putt-putt golf course was torn down in the name of progress, so I'm trying to get permission from the realty company that owns the property to detect on it. It's all fenced in right now with no trespassing signs. Count for the coins for 5 hunts is 30 Qtrs, 24 Dimes, 13 Nickels and 105 Pennies. Did find 1 wheat and a Bicentenial Quarter. I've been lax in posting. 2 weeks ago I got released from my doctors care for my herniated disc, so I've been spending all my time at the gym getting myself back up to Army standards. Also had a 3 day weekend drill for the guard, so 2 days of weekend detecting were scrubbed. Also found 2 magnets, a silver cross (looks and "acts" like silver but no marking) a hotwheel, several buttons and baubles, and a hundred or so pull tabs (not all shown).

Congrats on a good three weeks...

how long before a 100 coin day??

That's a decent take. Our ground is rock hard in places too. :P

Hope you get better soon. Back problems are no picnic.

About 1/2 the coins were from tot lots with sand, so it evened out as far as digging with the way the soil conditions are.
