1767 wreck sloop Mary off Key Biscayne (Cape Florida)

Does anyone know or have heard of this wreck?

1767 wreck sloop Mary lost off Key Biscayne (Cape Florida).

I see that the NPS And NOAA signed a Shipwreck Protection Agreement in 2006. Could that have anything to do with this wreck? It was commanded by Bernard Romans (my source of interest), of map maker fame, but didn't appear to have much past an ordinary cargo.

These have been because NPS has enforcement capabilities with the Park Rangers and Patrols.
