Found this 1772 KG III along the Savannah River today on a new permission. I think that this permission and I will get to know each other quite well!

Assuming you hit that with your Nox800, what depth would you estimate this was at and where did this fall on the read out roughly? I'm just curious about that.

Technically a counterfeit as are almost all KG IIIs that circulated in America back then. If it is an American made counterfeit, it could be worth a few hundred dollars.

It was about 4-5 inches and rang up at 25-26. Nice solid tone.
