Holy cow!!! Awesome find. You don't see those being found every day. Congrats. That's worth a pretty hefty chunk of change... in AG-3 condition it's $3,000 (2014 Redbook)... and yours appears to be in better condition than that... There were only 11,056 of those minted. I nominated your find for the banner.

Appears to be Sheldon 13, but I have no other pics of the rarist of the 2 varieties. One is NC-6 and Sheldon 16. Judging from spacing on the date and 3 leaves near the "F".....S-13.Great Find!!

Wow! If you're gonna dig a US copper, it don't get much better than that! Real nice condition for a cultivated field too.
