Hey everyone!
Went out in the rain for a bit to an old spot that today produced my first (official) Liberty Cap LC!!!
Unfortunately, the hydro treatment killed some of the detail 
but I assure everyone that this IS a Lib cap. When I pulled it I could make out the outline of the cap and bust not to mention how thick and heavy it was! The reverse is pretty toasted and it has a square with an X scored into it(
) for some odd reason. Luckily, I can just make out the date of 1795 and I also pulled some other finds within a 10 ft radius of the copper. Anyways thanks for looking and sorry once again for the cell pics (only temporary) and best of luck out there!
