1814 Ferdinand VII half real

Well its been over a month and around a dozen trips to the site where a circa 1730 house once stood. Lots of good finds spanning 17th-20th century but I finally found a silver older than a seated here. Little beat up but considering its only my second Spanish silver out of 8 with a date; I love it.

Yeah I guess thats what you call it but the other side is gone. First one Ive found though

Yep, old Ferdi has the distinction of being monarch when Spain lost most of its empire. He was also deposed by Napoleon for awhile too
