Got out for a quick hunt after work the other day and this morning for a bit. The French 5 centimes is a welcomed first and was very very deep. Psyched to dig the Jews harp as I never find these for some reason. Hoping that things are going to line up to get out to my 1614 site this week....fingers crossed

Does she sleep in the same bed as your infected coppers?

Mint condition bro lol. I'm just glad the one old silver that I really care about came out nice. Front cover of the new American Digger. Right beside my buddy Bills Lord B. He's always gotta one up me lol

Ok IP how many shoe buckles Ya got? I'm gonna match you at something some day brother. It certainly won't be early military buttons lol

Admittedly not as nice or old as yours buddy. Ok I'm going to stoop way down low....Any Tree Coins? I know man but that's all I got left. And a 1664 cob. Ok I'm going to bed on that note. I'm trying man I'm trying. Hoping to get on some earlier sites this month

I've dug several things I probably could have written about, but too late now. Guess we'll see what the future brings, and decide then. Twenty years down the road you'll be happy you did it.

It was a fun experience. I've always enjoyed writing and it was a bucket list item to have something published some day. And you can just say "no Abe I have NOT found any Mass silver." Lol I didn't ask about your stupid Spanish. 8-)

Couple of different finds for you. The copper is in fine shape, and congrats on the harp as there's not many posted up, it'll look great in the display.

Abe - your coin looks awesome on the cover! And it worked out great that my Lord Baltimore appeared next to yours. Originally my article about that find would not have come out until later in the year, but I had them move some others back so I could get it in earlier, and it just happened coincide when your find made it in. Great timing!!

Nice finds Abe, nice cleanup.

A nice old site, love the Jew harp:thumbsup: good luck at the 1614 site,I've got nothing that old near me,that's seacoast hunting in nh

Congrats on your finds Abe, the 1827 French coin is an interesting find! :occasion14:

Best of luck to you at the 1614 site this week!

Dave

Nice hunt, Abe! Are you trying permission for the 1614 site? Woods?

I've got permission. It's just a very very difficult place to get to and takes some planning
