Well Finaly got my scanner working again. And so excited to show everyone my latest find. This is my oldest silver coin to date. I have found one other half dime that was a 1835 and posted that here last year. I always wanted to find one and now I have two and could not be more excited. The cool thing about this one is that at one time it looks like it was used for a button. As on the back it looks like there was a shank that was broken off. Atleast thats what it looks like to me. It was only about an inch deep and was found at an old foundation of where a house once stood. Also got an 1865 2 cent peice an indian head penny and a barely recognizable sheild nickle. A great day for. Thank you for looking and good luck to you all.

Awesome find still looking for a bust coin !!

Keep @ It and HH!!

I would say it was more likely part of a ring. I have found a lot of Indian Heads with the same type of solder on the back. Either way, terrific find! Nice old silver!

Very cool, looks to be in great shape.

Man that is sweet.

That is really cool, a coin button. They sure picked a nice coin. Congrats on the find.
