183? half dime found at old school

[butch of pa]

Last weekend i went back to a old school site the owner said was hunted out. This was about 7" in a hole 2" below a wheat penny.

Nice find, congratulations.

that's awesome. good thing you rechecked the hole after the wheat penny

[terpfan]

Sweet half dime, a coveted find for sure! Did you check the hole after the half dime? lol

"Hunted out" is just a nice way to say "SCRAM!" Great dig!

Nice finds congrats!

No telling. It was probably masked by the wheat penny and that is why it wasn't found. With a find like that, I would go to the trashiest spot on the grounds and dig everything.
