1834 Large Cent

I got out for a couple hours in the afternoon to the 1830s farm. The weather was perfect in the mid-50s with no wind. Since I was digging in the tall grass I was mostly digging the bigger targets. The site is loaded with iron. There are broken stove pieces all over the area. I am not sure what the pointed lead piece is. It has tapered thread on the inside so it must have screwed onto something.

Lots of really neat stuff. That iron would give you a day's work.
The lead thing? Plumbing item? Don't have a clue. Good luck on that.

I was thinking a finial of some sort as well. It seems strange to make one out of lead though.
