1834 Matron Head, Silver & Relics!

I had a great weekend! I got out with my buddies Lanny, Chris & Chuck to a colonial site Saturday & there were some amazing finds. Chuck got a coin we think is a 1500s French Jetton. Chris also got one along with a 1723 pistareen & a 1774 Reale! I found a nice 1834 matron Head large cent, a walking liberty half dollar, mercury dime, War nickel & some other relics. I think the one piece is from a snuff box. Today I got out for a couple hours with my buddies Dean & Shawn to a site that was recently cleared. We didn’t last long in the mud & rain but still better than work! I found a flat button & an unknown brass relic. It was great to get out & save some more history!

I wish I could figure out what it is off of. The other side has a tire & wings. Some people commented it’s a symbol for motorcycle police
