When I first started metal detecting 5 years ago I had two things on my wish list. The first being a silver 3 cent peice, which I found last spring. Now I have the other a 1835 half dime. Always wanted to find a half dime. found it in a feild near where a old mill use to be. It is in excellent shape. I love this hobby. Thanks for looking.

Hey Mainer, A big congrats on your Capped Bust Half Dime! Like Leddel, I also know how you felt pulling that gem out of the ground. I got my Capped Bust Half Dime on April 9th of last year. My MXT was reading penny at 3 inches, I figured it was a wheat cent. Boy was I floored when I saw what it was. Again, way to go, it's one you'll always remember! P.S. Your's is in better condition!
