This afternoon Marinedad and I hunted the school site I've been working.
Started out slow at first cleaning up iron, al. cans. Then I hit a sweet spot
pulling out a V-nik to start it off then 3 I.H.s then a coin that was larger
than the I.H.s and smaller than the V. Showed it to Mark and all we could
see was the 1865 or 63 date, my thoughts were civil war coin. Both of us
found some good goodies from the 3 hour hunt. I pouched a 1883 with cents
V Nickel, 1860 81 88 and 95 I.H.s, George B Ames dealer in drugs, books & C
belvidere, ill. coin. 1934 A century of progress Chicago ring. HH DFW

Awesome job. I have a whole book about the 1934 Century of progress. If your interested, I can borrow it to you. It's loaded with some really cool stuff.

Looks like you found a Civil War Token with that drug store piece.

Clean the spot more and show some super finds------ congratulations !!!

Now that's a Smorgasbord of goodies!
Can't wait to see what else comes up from that site.

I wonder how many more 3 centers are hiding under a nail or roof tack there....

Man, if I had a spot giving up Largies, 3 centers and CW tokens, I'd be..

1-Bringing wheelbarrow and big shovels
2-Pitching a tent
3-Turning on All Metal mode

Need any help, I'll work for 3 cents an hour ;D

Lots of great finds, congrats bud!!! :headbang:
