1864 Capped Head Civil War Token

[riverdiver]

So I recovered this token on my last dive and just verified it as an 1864 Civil War Capped Head Token. It was difficult to research as it had several american coinage features like the capped head, stars, beading and a heraldic shield plus a date of 1864.

Excellent CW find and an especially great way to celebrate Independence Day! ...and remember the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War.
