Well, it's been awhile but yesterday was a pretty good day for Cambria09 and myself. Did I kick his ass, yes, was he happy no...was it fun competing, always. We compete via a pint system when we dig and it makes the hunt more interesting. 1 point for the oldest coin, 1 point for the most old coins(58 and earlier), 1 point each for silver, gold, and military finds, and lastly 1 point for the best relic(which we argue about often...) you should try it if you dig with a friend, and of course, there may be a wager involved... one item= 1 point, period. We go to 15 and it's 9-7 me so I'm happy. 34 wheats were had by me along with what you see and a bunch of other crap. Cambria came away with three silvers and a hand full of wheats and a nice flattened Sterling Thimble. I cannot find anything on the token but will post it in the what's it forum. No idea how an 1869 Greek Lepta gets in Florida, but I'll take it. The cuff link looks old me but no way of knowing and the dime speaks for itself Many thanks to Cambria for finding the site, and thanks for looking..
