Went to a school that is near Erie Canal . It has been arround since 1850. With a beautiful day in the air. Had to get out for one of what looks like the last few hunts for the year.
So at high Noon I started near a new baseball field and was Surprised by a 1883 ih at about 6". What was more shocking . My oldest at this sight . Have nailed alot of bling here . Today would not disapoint. Abouit midway through the hunt got a gold range ring hit and pulled a locket shaped in a heart Inside (not shown) looks like gold plating . As you can see the outside looks silver . nice piece but no markings . It has just one silver chain link and the loop . About 5 yrds away I got a nice silver signiture and pulled this 925 ring at about 1/2" down . When I cleaned it up and if you look close enough you can see a small stone in the crevise of the ring not sure if it is a diamound . But this little sucker has some weight. One of the most unique rings I have found .
Alas some gas money and alot of junk . I just hope I can sneak out tomorow
