Wow, this was an undiscovered find from a colonial picnic site, underneath a wild Muscadine vine and granite outcrop. This site has yielded a silver 1/2 reale (Carolus III), and late 18th century and early 19th century flat buttons. This is the latest find and latest date to date! Interesting this site was utilized since the late 1700's and into the 1800's for its beautiful rock outcrops and stream system, meaning that many people enjoyed this secluded special spot among the rock outcrops and stream environment. Those seated quarters are tough to find. There is nothing more satisfying than sitting in the deep woods while holding a freshly dug seated quarter and taking a drink of water from your canteen.

AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!

DANG I HAD TO TAKE A SEAT ON THAT ONE , NICE FIND...

One heckuva sweet looking seated- Congrats!
