18th Century Spanish silver and classic colonial buttons...

I went out in between the rain to see if I could score a few goodies. I finally made it back to a new site where I scored a Ferdinand VII 1/2 reale about two weeks ago. The result was a bunch of buttons including a silver faced and two wonderful beehive style flatties...




Bingo. 4" and a Lincoln cent signal.



Also found a nice little square of silver...



Some strange demon ring...


Looks like a piece of a medal, minus a wing


The reale looks like a 1790 Carolous IIII, Mexico City mint. Second reale from the site and my second 1790 1/2 reale.

Very strange that I've pulled two old 1/2 reales from there, yet not a single copper. For me it's usually the opposite!

Thanks Bill. I almost forgot the pain of never finding a cut silver, but that's what friends are for right?! Honestly I would give my left boot for a cut Spanish (a pistereen if I'm going to be choosy). Thanks for looking and I'll hopefully know very soon about that Penn grant property.

Yep, timing is everything and my timing was bad on that one. Either way I'm glad you're amped up and ready to kick arse. Also can't wait to the weekend results post.
