19 year old Daughter likes CRH'ing.

My wife stopped at the local bank and purchased 12 rolls of dimes for our 30th anniversary. My 19 year old daughter who thinks all of my hobbies are boring now thinks CRH'ing is cool. She helped search the rolls and found one silver out of the 12 rolls. I told them both that one silver in 12 rolls wasn't bad and I considered it a success. We then searched every other coin in the house. lol

Considering it a good day.

that does sound like a good day! my anniversary is tomorrow... probably have to settle for hunting my change from the movie. and 1 dime in 12 rolls is pretty good!!

Be prepared for the day she finds a 19-year old fella who also enjoys CRH, then what happens could be very interesting. A Win-Win situation on all sides. I just wish that my kids could have picked up the hobby interest before they all GREW up. Good finds, and a good family hobby.

So far she has told a bunch of her friends and a few co-workers about coin roll hunting and the price I would pay them if they want to sell any silver that they may find. She works two jobs part time and says she will keep an eye out for any silver coming through the cash drawers.

Now I just have to get her hooked on metal detecting. lol.

Not a smart thing to go telling everyone about the hobby
Couple reasons
1. Gonna dilute your finds
2. Could get a bunch of newbies that dont have good crh etiquette and get you and other crh in your area shut off from pucking up or dumping-

Thanks for the critique of my failed attempt at humor. As I tell my kids, not all of my material can be hilarious (Rarely ever is) and even professional comics bomb at times.
I guess I will stick to my day job formulating plastics.

I'm diagnosed with a sleeping disorder, I take naps all the time unfortunately---- I'm just sick of napping. I'll admit it is pretty funny, so by all means, it is not a failed attempt.

I've had problems with sleeping over the years too, except I wasn't able to sleep. Got help before it killed me or completely ruined my life, so I kind of know where you are coming from. I now cherish every nap i get.
