1904 Presidential Tag

[prolab69]

Spent 2 hrs at A foundation site with my shooter coil, found this Roosevelt Presidential Tag and A 1888 Indian head, thought it was a dog tag at first, then googled it when I got home.
Tag says

ROOSEVELT
1904
FAIRBANKS
WASHINGTON

Not bad for 2hrs

the tag looks to be a railroad baggage tag. fairbanks to washington. I will try and find
if their was a roosevelt rail line. wes

I dug one of those years ago. Been told it was a watch fob. Roosevelt (for president) and Fairbanks(running mate for vice president). Washington just depicting the area (White House)......Rich

Yes your right, I was thinking wrong. I did find a RR baggage tag a couple years ago,
